Santa Mini-Sessions!

We are excited to announce that we are adding an additional day for our Santa event this year! There are just a couple of session times available for Saturday October 16th so we decided to open up some times on Thursday October 14th as well.

This will be something you will cherish forever. During your 15 minute mini-session, we will capture your child(ren) as they spend time with Santa. Santa has been kind enough to loan us his suit (and beard and wig!) for Mom or Dad to dress up in for the session. Capturing the look of awe and wonderment that will last a lifetime. Session fee for this special event is $79. We will have several packages to chose from that are only available for these Santa mini-sessions, including Christmas cards.

Hurry and call us soon before they are all gone for 2010! 651.343.4823

A newborn brother!

Remember when we mentioned that this was the spring/summer of newborns?!? Well, we weren't kidding! We are still getting caught up on the blog from all of these adorable babes! We couldn't forget Baby Andrew (Drew). Drew has two older brothers; Brady who is almost 3 and Joe who is 9; and an older sister, Maddie, who is 4. What a good looking bunch! And they couldn't have been more doting on their new brother! We know Baby Drew is going to get lots of love and attention...and how lucky is mom to have all of that extra "help" at home?!? We can't wait to photograph Drew at 6 months and see how he has grown!

Another stunning high school senior!

We have so enjoyed getting to know Kayla and her horse, Eclipse, this past summer! Kayla has just started her senior year in high school...such an exciting time in her life! We love working with seniors...their energy, enthusiasm for life and their passions in life are always so refreshing. From these images, you can tell that Eclipse and riding are Kayla's passion! Kayla's senior session was an evening mid-summer...and it couldn't have been better. We really captured Kayla's relationship with Eclipse and how much riding means to Kayla. Have a great senior year, Kayla! And we can't wait to hear about what your future holds!

One of our final summer photo sessions were these three little sweeties!! What a great way to end the summer! We loved their energy and enthusiasm, their little giggles, the way they adore their baby sister, and the great taste their mom has in clothing choices!! Hot pink and orange! What could be better?!!? It is always so special to us to be chosen to capture portraits and in this case, the first time all three were photographed professionally together. We are excited for these images to be proudly displayed in their home for many, many years!

Our final Re-Zoom Camper!

And finally, today we are featuring Kate's photography from Re-Zoom camp this past summer and Zoom Camp last summer! Kate is very thoughtful in her creative process- You can tell that she looks to understand photography more deeply and pushes herself to explore concepts. And the outcome is visually exciting! Enjoy her work!

We are so super proud of all of our campers! These young woman not only learned a lot but taught us with their enthusiasm and energy. They all have great potential as young photographers but above all, have a great passion for something they love-and we have loved being a part of that!

Send us an email or call us at 651.343.4823 if you or anyone you know might be interested in Zoom Camp 2011! We have already started planning camp for next year and will be accepting reservations in the new year! There are a limited number of spots so inquire early!

Another Re-Zoom talented camper!

Next up in our showcase of Re-Zoom talent, is Carly's work! Carly impressed us with her creativity and her unique perspective. Celebrations

This was a special summer of milestones for this family! Their middle child, Henry, turned 5 years old (we have a special place in our hearts for Henry since we have been photographing him since he was a baby!), in addition to Mom and Dad celebrating 10 years of wedded bliss!! It was a busy photo session with all three kids, although we focussed on Henry and making this his special session. We saved time at the end to capture Mom and Dad alone-super cute! We heart you guys!!!

Announcing our Holiday deadlines

We have had several inquiries over the past few weeks about timing for photo sessions this fall-yes, fall is upon us! To be able to have orders ready in time for the holidays this December, here are the deadlines:

October 29th: Photo sessions must be complete by this date.
November 15th: Viewing sessions and orders must be placed.

These deadlines will ensure that orders will be ready for pick up the week of December 20th.

It seems hard to believe that we are already thinking about the holidays but it will be upon us before we know it!

More summer fun...

Can you tell what a fantastic summer we have had photographing? This was truly a special session! First, we had two of our longtime favorite sisters, Hazel and Iris, to photograph-then we added an awesome summer morning and finally we mixed in some bright red balloons = an outstanding session! (and believe it or not, I think we only lost 2 balloons the entire time!) We love Hazel and Iris (and their mom & dad, too) and seeing them grow up. They are a bundle of fun..and their giggles are contagious! We know the memory of this summer sisters session (say that three times fast!) will bring a smile to our faces for a long time to come!!

All tied up in a pretty bow!

The spring/summer of 2010 has certainly been the season of newborn babies for us at the studio! I can't remember when we photographed this many newborns within a few months! It has been so fun!

You may recall Jane's maternity images that we posted back in April-and how Jane might just win the award for the cutest pregnant mommy-to-be ever! Well, Baby Ellie arrived earlier this summer and we couldn't resist decking her out in a beautiful lavendar bow-to match her nursery! How sweet is she?!? Even though Ellie is their first, Jane and Garrett seemed like old pros with their newborn! So relaxed and laid back...we think they should have 10 kids! Ellie is a much loved baby as the first grandbaby on both sides...we know she is going to be spoiled with love and kisses and who could blame them?!?! Congratulations, Jane and Garrett! We can't wait to watch Ellie grow!
