Happy Birthday to my beautiful niece!

This little peanut is full of verve, laughter and a huge case of the sillies! Hmmmm ... she must be related to me. Add in the fact that we share a birthday month, she looks good in hats (like me) and you have the recipe for the cutest two year old on the block. Plus when she comes to town she gets to play with my new studio stuff. Yah, I love-love-love the new ruffled booty shorts and sweet hat. Have a wonderful birthday Miss A, wish we could be there share in the fun! Love you! Auntie M. (Wait, isn't Auntie M from the Wizard of Oz? I am sensing an idea for when she turns 3.

Blue eyed babe!!

This little cutie deserves a blog post all of his own!!  Gabe is the youngest of three sweet boys who have been coming to us since Sam (who is now almost 6!) was a newborn. But for this session, it was all about Gabe who had just turned 6 months old!! He has the same gorgeous smiles as his big brothers but has his own darling personality!! And look at those eyes!!  We love watching these boys grow big and can't wait to see what our next session holds in store!!

Bleu the cat!

It was a lovely, sun-filled early winter morning when we went to Lois' beautiful home to capture Bleu in their home.   The snow had not yet started to fall and the sun streamed through the windows in their sunroom-we couldn't have asked for more delicious lighting!  Bleu was photographed in her surroundings- having a treat, relaxing in front of the fire, lounging on the stairs and even playing with her toy mouse.  Most importantly, we captured Bleu's relationship with Lois and that was the most special part of the day.  We are so happy that we have been able to create these portraits as a loving memories of sweet Bleu. 

Family laughs and giggles!

This family session was full of fun! Maddie, her mom and her dad made us laugh and giggle the entire session!  (it helps that they have known Melissa for quite awhile!) You would have thought a party was going on in the studio that day.  Maddie was a star and we captured her smiles and silliness perfectly! We love that their family portrait is displayed proudly at the foot of their stairs so that they pass by several times a day and see what a precious family they are!
