From across the pond!!!

These sweet, loving sisters were visiting from London, England when they came in for a photo session! We have been photographing Belle since she was little and her sister, Skye, since she was born. They moved away when Skye was a baby so it has been awhile since we have photographed them...they have both changed so much but are still as darling as ever! Each girl chose their own outfit and amazingly enough, they matched!! How about that??? We couldn't resist using the hot pink background! (and older cousin popped into a few images, too!!) We can't wait for their next visit!! Safe travels!!

Here come the bride, the groom...& puppy!!!

We are so excited to be photographing Jane and Gunnar's wedding this Friday evening! I thought we could start the pre-wedding excitement by posting some of their engagement portraits that we captured back in May. Of course, included in this session was their new puppy, Ellie, who was really the star of it all! I am sure Ellie will be included in their big day on Friday and we will be there to capture it all! Congratulations to a great couple!!

Up North

We just returned from a wonderful family vacation up north and I thought I would share some of the highlights! The girls voted that having smores over a campfire every night was a must. Mission accomplished ... I've never eaten so many marshmellows. They are fat free right? Here's the girls around the first fire, which I am sad to say took almost an entire newspaper to get going. My grandfather (who taught me everything I know about fires and boating) would have been disappointed initially but happy to that we didn't grab the lighter fluid like our beach neighbors:).

Brynn caught her very first fish on this trip and she is hooked on fishing. She started with this 2lb large mouth bass, then caught a little bass, then a bullhead. We called it a day at that point. I love her sisters expression:). This is one of my favorite vacation pictures of all time.

We took the girls mini golfing. Marin, my 3 year old, won almost every hole (she had a two putt strategy working to her advantage ... hit the ball, no matter where it lands pick it up and set it next to the hole, then putt it in). She's so smart:).

Here's the amazing sandcastle we built, complete with decorations. Unfortunately the beach neighbors on the other side thought they should knock it down. It was fun while it lasted.

I hope everyone is enjoying these last bits of summer before the hustle and bustle of the school year commences! Family kisses!

Check out little Jack's smile as mom and dad smother him in kisses!! This first image stood out to mom when she came in to view as it is part of their regular routine to have "family kisses"...I am so glad we were able to capture such a special time for them! Pretty soon, they will have to make room for another face to kiss as they are expecting Baby #2 this winter! Jack will become a big brother and have lots of love to share with a new little sister or brother!! (we can't wait to find out which one it will be!)

Summer fun!

Summer = sunny smiles, warm skin, sunbleached hair, barefeet and cool clothes! And this session has all of that! We love photographing this time of year! These siblings are enjoying their summer and telling us the best part of summer for them...you can tell that soccer is a big part of it! Little Kate loved her pink backpack almost as much as she adored her big brothers! And she is the apple of their eyes! We hope they are taking full advantage of the gorgeous weather here in Minnesota and savoring these last few weeks before school begins!!!

Nothing like a girl and her shoes!!!

Who doesn't love a pair of high heels?!?! Clearly, little Ruby has developed the taste for nice shoes early in life as she tried on her mom's stunning pair during our session! At only a year old, Ruby has learned the importance of these finer things in life!
In addition to trying on heels, Ruby was also captured with her gorgeous family including mom, dad and big brothers, Walker and Brock. Big brothers were very sweet with their little sister and had lots of fun with each other. These sessions always make us smile and remember why we love doing this!

A family bidding farewell to Minnesota!

It was a pleasure for us to photograph this family who have been living in Minnesota for the past couple of years and are moving back to India this summer. Before leaving, they wanted to experience a portrait session to be able to fondly recall their time in the United States. We were delighted that they selected Miroslavich Photography to capture this time in their lives! Neil, the 9 year old son, told us he is going to miss Minnesota, especially playing hockey in the winter. We wish them all the best as they embark on a new chapter in their lives!

Lots of love from Lizzie and Taylor!!

These two sweet faces belong to Lizzie and Taylor (how funny is that???) They accompanied their owners, Curt and Lisa (and son Grayson), to this session last month. Curt is a veterinarian and we captured great images of him with Lizzie and Taylor together...look at the kisses he gets! Of course, our favorites are the images of Lizzie and Taylor being the center of attention with the whole family. A whole lot of love to go around!!
