Smile alert!!

Have you ever met a 6 month old baby who seriously, could not stop smiling?  Well, we recently have!! Ethan came into the studio for his 6 month session and not only could he not stop it with that darn cute smile, he had us grinning from ear to ear the entire time!  It was totally contagious!  Of course,  big sister Emerson came along for the fun!  We photographed Em when she was the same age Ethan is here-hard to believe that was 3 years ago now. WOW-time flies! Emerson is now a very grown up 3 1/2 year old and dazzled us with her enthusiasm and energy!!!

Brown-eyed girls!!

These lovely sisters (who actually have brown eyes and hazel eyes respectively but I couldn't help the title of this blog-it just seemed to fit them!!) were as sweet as can be when they were at the studio!  Stella, who was nearly 3, and Mylee, who was nearly 4 months old, were a blast to be with!! Stella's bubbly personality and mothering instincts with Mylee lit up the studio!  And little Mylee-loved smiling and making funny faces!! What darling ages!!  We can't wait to see how much they have grown the next time we see them!!  

Backyard Fun!

Minnesota summers are the best-everyone who lives here would agree! And what could be better than hanging out with this cute family in their summer backyard?  Franklin and Lewis are brothers who are no strangers to this blog!  Over the years we have captured them and their family at various times in their lives, documenting their growth, development and relationship as brothers. We adore watching them grow up! On this occasion, it was all about playing, running and having fun with each other and their fur-brother, Stu!  Being 3 and 5 years old is pretty darn good, I'd say!!

It's great to be THREE!!

Sweet Julia is a regular cutie here on our blog as we have been photographing her since she was just days old and her older brothers long before that! We have adored watching these three siblings grow up! Julia is now a big girl who is three years old and keeps up with those older brothers who we also photographed together at this session. Julia is full of life and laughs-and has a slight obsession with footwear (which must be why she gets along with Melissa so well?!?!) We love the special relationship we have with this darling family and look forward to many more sessions in the future!

Morning smiles!

How is it possible that this family keeps getting cuter and cuter every time we photograph them? Maybe it's because Mom has a great sense of style and they all come to each photo session so well coordinated and dressed?! Whatever it is, they need to let us in on the secret! We love photographing them through the years as they grow into bigger kids with different interests and ready for new adventures.

Brand new bundle of love!!

What could be better than a brand new adorable baby sleeping soundly?! Maybe a doting big brother with that newborn baby! We were delighted to photograph Baby Skye when she was just 14 days old at home with her big brother, Duke. This age can be tricky as this is the time when babies start "waking up" for longer periods of time but Baby Skye slept like a champ...even with all the kisses and cuddles she was getting from Duke. It was very sweet!

Mr Andrew turns 6 months!

6 months sessions are the BEST!!!! Baby Andrew turned 6 months old and came in with his brothers and sister for an awesome photo session! Mom always has the best ideas for their sessions so we loved having Andrew in a necktie and a diaper-how cute is this?!?! It was also special for us to update all the kids' portraits to be displayed in their kitchen-and add Andrew's to the wall collage! We can't wait to see what lies in store for Andrew's one year old session this summer - and a side note: these cuties have a brand new baby boy cousin born last week whom we photographed this past week at 8 days old. Brotherly love

Ben and Sam. You can't much cuter than these two. Just knowing this family makes us smile. Sam, the big brother at almost 4 years of age, and Ben, age 6 months, came in recently for Ben's 6 month session. Both boys were full of smiles and giggles. Of course, Sam is a pro at these photo sessions and likes "show" Ben how it is done. And you can tell already that Ben is going to want to do everything his big brother does! The session wouldn't be complete with a few images in the most adorable "Benjamin" hat that mom brought to the session-simply perfect! These are moments to cherish forever!
