Welcome to the world, Baby Isaac!!!

Over the past two years since big brother John was born, we have gotten to know and grown to adore this cute family!  This spring, they grew by one when Baby Isaac arrived on the scene!!  And what a cutie he is!!!  We loved photographing Isaac's newborn portraits when he was 4 days old. Of course, John joined in the fun and we captured some 2 year old images of him with his favorite toy right now-a firetruck!!  We couldn't resist the elephant images and can't wait to add the elephant into Isaac's 6 and 12 month sessions!!  Congratulations on the arrival of Issac!!

Carefree Summer days!

These cuties are kind of like rock stars on our blog as we have been photographing them since their oldest, Brennan, was a baby!! Brennan is now 6 1/2 years old and brother Davis is 4 1/2 years old and little sister Eleanor is a big girl who is 2 years old!!!  We can always count on their mom pulling their outfits together into something awesome and this session was no exception!  We love their energy, smiles and giggles- and being outside for this session was so fun! Watching these siblings run, dance, climb and explore is what summer is all about.  We are so happy to be a part of your lives!

A Snowy day

Was it possible that we actually had snow in the Twin Cities this year? Yes, we did and this photo session took place on one of those rare days shortly after a stunningly beautiful snowfall. The kind of snow that sticks to tree and sparkles in the sun. Of course, not nearly as pretty and sparkly as 2 year old Emerson and her sweet personality! The last time we saw Emerson, she was 6 months old. Now she is a big 2 year old girl -running, laughing and not loving her mittens!! Oh, to be 2 again! We are so glad we captured some moments in the snow with Emerson this winter! Magical.

Brotherly love...

Two brothers. 13 months apart. Ages 1 and 2. Do you think this household is busy? We loved meeting Ethan and Silas when they came in for their photo session recently. You can tell, even at this young age, that these two boys are going to be the best of friends. They are sweet and loving with one another but also you can tell that they are going to like being physical and playful-just like brothers!!

Three blonde cuties!!!

How cute are these three blondies? Adeline. Eli. Stella. We have known this family for just over a year and can't get enough of them! This was our first outdoor session with them and so fun to watch them discover their surroundings and explore. Running, chasing, jumping, posing, climbing, giggling. It doesn't get much better than that. We can't wait for their next session-with mom and dad this time!!

Plenty of fun!

Not only does this family have an abundance of kids, they also have an abundance of love, energy and fun! (and a quick side note-since this session, they have added a puppy to the mix! Images of puppy Lena to come soon!!!) I think even the older kiddos in this family were surprised by how much fun it was to come to the studio and have their portraits taken. Of course, sweet 2 year old Will was the one who keeps everyone laughing and giggling! He is definitely the glue that brings everyone together!

Sisters.

There is something about sisters that is so sweet and precious. These two sisters are exactly that-big sister Lily is a little mother to little Violet. Seeing them interact and play during their session this past summer was too cute for words. Of course, coordinating sisters outfits is always so fun and their mom did a wonderful job with them. We are so pleased that their portraits are displayed so proudly in their home-and happy that we can share these images with their out of town family and friends through the blog! We hope they enjoy as much as we do!

Late summer morning fun!

It has been a couple of years since we had the pleasure of photographing this lovely family-in fact, it was when little Sadie was just days old; it was the middle of January and freezing cold. What a difference to this family session!! It was a stunning late summer morning in a nearby meadow with warm sun and lots of sunny smiles (and one of these smiles was missing a couple of front teeth)! We also spent some time hunting for the "perfect" bonfire sticks for 5 year old Payne which we were able to find plenty. The bonfire that occurred later that evening must have been pretty darn cool-and hopefully s'mores were enjoyed as well!

Two lovely sisters + one sweet brother = one great session!

These adorable siblings were so fun to photograph! Seven year old Ella, five year old Graham and two year old Lily were ready to get started as soon as they walked in the door! We captured great moments of them together-being silly, playful and just having fun!! We were also able to create stunning individual images of each of them-really showing their own unique personalities. They were darling. You know it was a great session when the 2 year old is blowing kisses as she leaves the studio at the end! Gotta love that! This family recently had an addition to their family-an eight week old goldendoodle puppy they named Teddy!! We can't wait for a session next summer that will include Teddy!! Yay!!
