Emma - Class of 2014

Whew!  What a whirlwind month we have had at the studio meeting new high school seniors and re-connecting with a few of our now-senior clients!   We have had sessions with seniors all over the Twin Cities- St Paul Academy,  Hill Murray,  Cretin Derham, Sibley, East Ridge and Tartan!  We love the energy and enthusiasm these sessions bring to the studio!!  Emma is a senior whom met a couple of years ago with big brother Gabe ( http://miroslavichphotography.blogspot.com/2011/11/gabriel-class-of-2012.html) came for his senior portraits!  Emma came to the studio game for anything we suggested and ready with various outfit changes!  Big bro, Gabe, came with and even helped out with the session!  Love this pair!! Since then we have been lucky enough to meet and photograph some of Emma's senior pals from her high school and we couldn't be happier!!  Watch for many more senior blog posts this fall- and if you still haven't scheduled your senior session, it's not too late! Pretty in Pink

Lately, we have many of our 2012 babies turn a year old which means we have been lucky enough to photograph a lot of one year old sessions!  These sessions are the best!!  This little cutie, Mylee, turned one in July and came in a few weeks ago for her very own special session (we hope to see big sister Stella next time!!).  Mylee got to play "dress up" in two very sweet outfits perfect for this session!  Mylee's big smile lit up the studio almost as much as the hot pink we used- it really must be her color!!

Back to School Bliss!

Here in Minnesota, today is the first day of school for most kids!  A day when we leave those carefree days of summer behind and trade in the lazy mornings for mornings of rushing to catch the bus!  We hope to squeak out some more warm, summer-like weather these next few weeks to ease us all into the fall routine!
When we think back to this summer at the studio-this sibling trio comes to mind! This was one of our favorite summer sessions this year. Not only are these three incredibly sweet, kind and good looking-but they all got along so well with each other. We seriously could have spent the whole day with them!!    Capturing their relationships with each other and each of their own personalities was priceless! We are happy to have gotten to know them!   Here's hoping they had a great first day at school today!

Cousins!

What can be more fun and loving than cousins?  In our house, we have just come off three weeks with various cousins visiting from Canada and there was nothing more heartwarming as a parent than to see their kiddos interact, play, belly-laugh, be silly, loving and sweet with their cousins.  Especially when cousins do not get to see each other because of geographical distance!  This is the case with these four lovely girls!! Two sisters live here in Minnesota and two sisters live in Texas (can you tell who are sisters?!?!) So when the Texas sisters came up to Minnesota to spend part of their summer vacation with their cousins, it was only natural that a photo session was scheduled as a gift to their grandparents. The result?  Four super cute girls coordinated in the best outfits ever having a fabulous time in the studio with us while we captured the love between them!  BEST gift ever to grandma and grandpa!!!  We know these images are going to provide much joy and pleasure as they are displayed for years to come!!

Bridget-Class of 2014

It was a "magical" kind of day when Bridget came in for her senior session last month!  We feel like Bridget has been a part of the Miroslavich Photography family forever since we first photographed her 6 years ago.  Of course, the session wouldn't have been complete without Brady the dog tagging along!  (how sweet is he?!?!)  We loved incorporating Bridget's favorite things including the piano and her love of anything Disney.  Here's to a great senior year, Bridget!! We hope it brings you everything you wish for!

Introducing Saturday photo sessions this fall!!

It is shaping up to be an exciting fall at Miroslavich Photography!   For the first time ever, we are offering Saturday photo sessions this fall on the following Saturdays:

Saturday September 14
Saturday October 12
Saturday November 9

Sessions will take place at the studio or weather permitting on location in Woodbury.  There are a limited number of sessions each Saturday so call us this week at 651.343.4823 to schedule your Saturday session!  We anticipate that all sessions will be booked quickly! Once they are gone, they are gone!

Cathryn - Class of 2014

Can you believe that senior season has already started at the studio?  We have been in full blown high school senior mode since early June- and we love it!!
We have known sweet Cathryn since she was a little girl running around with her sister and cousins at her grandparents' house in Hudson.  So it was an honor for us to capture her high school senior session this summer.  We definitely felt inspired by Cathryn's love of French culture and had a grand time incorporating that into her session.  That is what makes these senior sessions unique and special.  All the best with your senior year, Cathryn!!

Keeping up with Catherine and Nicholas!

The last time we photographed Catherine and Nicholas, Catherine was twirling around the studio in her tutu, Nicholas was riding his motorized jeep and Zac the dog was not a part of this super fun family!!  Fast forward a few years and we were delighted to have them back in the studio.  Catherine had been a part of our ZOOM Photography Camp for kids last summer so we have enjoyed keeping in touch.  This year it was time to update their portrait wall in their home with new portraits of the kids plus Zac the dog!!  It was a fun spring morning and one of our first times photographing outside this spring.  Ahhh!  It was heartwarming capturing brother and sister together and witnessing the special bond between Nicholas and Zac.  We can't wait to see these images displayed in their home!

PhotoStyled Fun!

An early summer morning, a fabulous family of 5 and perfect Minnesota weather (with no bugs!!).  Who could ask for anything more?!? Add to this combination two big brothers who simply adore and dote on their little sister and we had an awesome morning!! This family also was one of our Photostyled sessions which we launched last fall.  PhotoStyled sessions are for clients who want even more help in putting the finishing touches on clothing coordination and also for clients who "want it all"!  The cool thing is the styling process is still a completely collaborative experience.  We actually have two options for your styled portrait experience.  ClothingStyled provies additional help with clothing choices.  A stylist actually comes to your home and coordinates your family's outfits.  PhotoStyled takes this another step further marrying visual design with relationship photography to turn your session into a conceptual masterpiece (think magazine ad).  Not only do we provide a stylist for clothing design and extra help during your session (the stylist came to this family's session to help!), we also complete an in-home consultation to discuss unique portrait display options and ultimately hang your art for you while you ohh and ahh over your new art piece.  It's for when good enough, just isn't!
