Our Thanksgiving Family

In honor of families spending their time with us at Miroslavich Photography throughout the year, we wanted to share a special post regarding one of our favorite families.

This past September we had the privilege to spend time with Sherry and Charles, as well as their children Ben, Brock and Brooke. Even Sasha, the chocolate lab joined us! The family wanted a classic look and feel to their portraits, and our goal was to capture the family with a timeless appeal, before the kids began their personal journeys in pursuit of their dreams.

We think the final portraits highlight the family’s fun, engaging personalities as well as the obvious love for one another. And just in time for the holiday season, the family has their portrait hanging in the entry way to their home for everyone to see.

It was a pleasure spending our time getting to know each member of the family, and we are thankful for each opportunity provided to us every day by all families and friends of Miroslavich Photography. Have a happy holiday season!

Merry Christmas 2013!!

Before we head off for a short "blog-cation", we wanted to end the year wishing our Miroslavich family of clients, friends and blog followers a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!! Sparkle and shine!

We all could use a little more sparkle in our lives!  These three cuties had no idea that we had planned to use our very sparkly, very glittery, very fun background for their session so when they came in they were super excited to see such a festive studio!!  And their outfits couldn't have been better suited for this level of glam!! Adeline, Eli and Stella are siblings that always make us smile and we adore seeing them grow up before us! (stay tuned for Adeline's toothless session on the blog very soon!) While we enter another arctic plunge here in Minnesota this week, try to find some sparkle and shine to brighten up your days!!

New Holiday Products at the studio!

We are excited to launch new products at the studio this fall! To give you a little taste of what new, cool pieces you can expect to see when you come in, here is a sneak peek.Check out our new Flutter, a gift sized, beautiful, hand painted frame of your color choice (the possibilities are endless-seriously!) and it sits perfectly on a desk or shelf. It makes an ideal gift (they are flying out of the studio already!). Also this fall we are introducing our new art album that holds 20 images from your session. A great solution to having as many images from your session displayed together.

Another exciting addition this fall are the brand new, hot-off-the-press holiday card designs! Each one is better than the one before! We still custom design every stunning card but new this year we have added cool, designer shapes! You will have a hard time choosing (we certainly are!!).

We really can't wait to share all of these new products and more with you when you come in for your session this fall. Holiday shopping? Done.

Announcing our 2011 Holiday Deadlines....

It is that time of year when many of you schedule your yearly photo session with us! Whether it is a milestone age for one of the kids or time for another family portrait for the home, fall is an ideal time to come in for your session. Believe it or not, holiday deadlines are fast approaching. To ensure orders are ready in time for the holidays, photo sessions need to take place by November 1st and orders placed no later than November 22nd. Call us to schedule your planning session with Melissa today so that we can take advantage of the fall colors. (Apparently because of the favorable summer weather, they are predicting that the fall colors will be the best this year then in the past 10 years!) As we finish our last minute preparations for the holidays, we wanted to pause to wish you all a very merry Christmas! We also wanted to share with you a small sample of the images we captured during our Santa Mini-Sessions way back in October (which, at the time, seemed so strange to be capturing holiday portraits when Halloween was around the corner!)What fun we had that day! It is just one of our many great memories from 2010-and we can only imagine all the great stories, images, returning families, new babies, new friends, and adventures that await us in 2011! 2010 Ornaments have arrived!!

New this year!!!!

We are so excited with this very special offer for a limited time! For anyone who has ordered portraits, we are offering new, beautiful, cool holiday ornaments. Recently, we had the opportunity to create exclusive Miroslavich Photography designed holiday ornaments. They come in three holiday-inspired colors: Winterberry Red, Birch White and Garland Green. Each are hand-painted and slightly distressed and PERFECT for any Christmas tree at the ideal size of 4"x4". Since introducing them earlier this fall, they have been flying out of the studio.

They are available for $79 each or $195 for a set of three. If you want your portraits to be amazing holiday ornaments this year, please email robin@miroslavichphotography.com. They make great gifts too! Orders for ornaments need to be placed no later than Tuesday November 23, 2010 for us to guarantee them to be ready by December 16. Keep them for your tree or give them to grandparents as a gift. They will be the talk of your holiday decorating! We love ours and might even put up the tree a little early this year to show them off!

Going, going, almost gone!!

Santa Mini-Sessions are almost completely booked! We have just a couple of sessions left on both days: Thursday October 14 and Saturday October 16! We are super excited that this event is going to be a hit again this year. Our clients who have scheduled mini-sessions can't wait for the big day! So, we are getting the Santa suit dusted off, finding the perfect holiday music, and gearing up for a day (well, actually two) of holiday magic in October! We will be sure to share some images with everyone on the blog! So, don't delay-call and book your session now before they are all gone!! Ho HO Ho!

Announcing our Holiday deadlines

We have had several inquiries over the past few weeks about timing for photo sessions this fall-yes, fall is upon us! To be able to have orders ready in time for the holidays this December, here are the deadlines:

October 29th: Photo sessions must be complete by this date.
November 15th: Viewing sessions and orders must be placed.

These deadlines will ensure that orders will be ready for pick up the week of December 20th.

It seems hard to believe that we are already thinking about the holidays but it will be upon us before we know it!

Happy Holidays 2009 from Miroslavich Photography

Happy Holidays!! We are just about to take a little blogging vacation (would that be called a "blog-cation?") but before we do, we thought we would share with all of you some holiday cheer courtesy of our very cooperative kids who indulge us every year as we think of something new for them to do for us for our holiday greetings! The Miroslavich girls (ages 6 and 3) and the Ashton boys (ages 8, 6 and 4) all got together at the studio a few weeks ago so Melissa could photograph them for our studio holiday card. During this process, she managed to capture some video which proved to be quite entertaining! We wish you all a very happy holiday and we look forward to returning to the blog in early 2010 to continue to share with you all things wonderful at Miroslavich Photography!!!

A Christmas Baby!!

Happy Holidays from Miroslavich Photography! We thought this new little guy was fitting for our final blog entry of 2008! Sweet little Jayden was born at the beginning of the month and came to the studio at 3 days old for his first session with us! Mom had bought this stocking before Jayden was born and we couldn't resist putting him right inside! Our little Christmas elf!! His mom and dad couldn't be prouder! And we are thrilled for all of them!

Melissa and I wish all of you a very happy holiday and new year! The studio is now closed until Tuesday January 6th. Melissa will be spending the holidays with her family in and around the Twin Cities and my family and I will be making the long drive back to Canada for 2 weeks! We are all looking forward to a peaceful and relaxing holiday!

We look forward to coming back in January and starting 2009 off with a bang!! We have lots of exciting things happening in January and we can't wait to tell you all about them!! Check back in the new Year!! Until then, enjoy these stunning newborn images and how magical a baby can make Christmas!

a Bright and Merry Holiday!!

Don't these images make you think of a cheery holiday season?!?! And how great are these colors? When Taye came in for her planning session and brought us the clothes she was thinking of having everyone wear, we were so pumped! Bright orange, fushia pink and red! They rock! And we love it! We were equally as excited when the whole family came in for the photo session and lit up the studio with their personalities and enthusiasm! How many of us don't have great images of just Mom and Dad? (....probably the last one most of us have is from our wedding!) This one is absolutely stunning!!
